Introduction
Welcome to ShiftLog, a time-reporting portal operated by Accounting Techniq Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ShiftLog portal ("Portal"). By using the Portal, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Portal immediately.
1. Use of the Portal
The Portal allows users to report worked shifts, view personal
information, and interact for data verification.
You must use the Portal only for lawful purposes and in accordance with
these Terms. Any fraudulent or unauthorized use of the Portal is strictly
prohibited.
2. User Accounts
To access the Portal, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You agree not to share your login details with third parties.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach involving your account.
3. Reporting and Employer Confirmation
You are responsible for ensuring that the work hours and related data you
submit to the Portal are accurate and truthful. Your primary employer will
verify your reported hours, and payments will be processed based on the
information confirmed by your employer.
Company is not responsible for any discrepancies or delays in payment
due to incorrect or unverified data submitted by you or your employer.
4. Payment Processing
Payments for your work are generated based on the information you provide
and as confirmed by your employer. While we facilitate the payment
process, Company is not responsible for the timeliness, accuracy, or
fulfillment of payments made by your employer.
Any disputes regarding payment amounts or schedules must be resolved
directly between you and your employer.
5. Availability of Services
We aim to ensure the continuous operation of the Portal; however, we do
not guarantee that the Portal will always be available, secure, or free
from errors. Maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues may cause
temporary service interruptions.
Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the
Portal, or any part of it, without notice and without liability.
6. Data Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal data through the Portal are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Portal, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
7. Third-Party Services
The Portal may rely on third-party services (such as AWS for hosting and payment processors) to operate. Company is not responsible for the availability, security, or performance of these third-party services. Any issues arising from the use of third-party services should be directed to the respective provider.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Company, its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Portal. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Delays or errors in payment processing.
- Inaccuracies in reported work hours or employer verification.
- Unauthorized access to your account.
- Temporary or permanent unavailability of the Portal.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid, if any, to Company for the use of the Portal.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Company, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of:
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your misuse of the Portal.
- Any false, misleading, or inaccurate information you provide.
- Any disputes between you and your employer regarding work hours, verification, or payments.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and software associated with the Portal are the
property of Company or its licensors and are protected by intellectual
property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable
right to use the Portal solely for personal and professional purposes
related to time reporting.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Portal.
- Use the Portal for any commercial purposes without prior written consent from Company.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Portal at
our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including
violation of these Terms or misuse of the Portal.
Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will
immediately cease.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the use of the Portal shall be resolved through negotiations in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Portal after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
